George Bertie - trainer bio
At Results Gym we have a passion for all contact sports. Head trainer George Bertie first attended Karate lessons aged 4 (back in 19 oatcake!). George as a child progressed to kickboxing aged 10 and by then was well and truly "hooked" excuse the pun. In 1997 George began training others, initially a group of friends and enthusiasts in Forfar from a humble church hall.
Over the years George has developed his coaching skills to the top level, with his academy being recognised internationally. George competed in a variety of disciplines including MMA, Kick Jitsu, Grappling from light to full contact.
George's passion for martial arts has taken him all over the world competing where he has won a number of titles and medals including the WKA World title. These skills have now transferred into his coaching where he has nurtured a number of World and European champions over the years.
George has coached the WKA/WAKO Scottish teams and his very own kickboxing academy continues to develop the champions of tomorrow.

children's classes
Our children's kickboxing classes are very popular and have been running for almost 20 years.
Our classes are split into 3 age categories;
Mini Ninjas - for children aged 4-6 years.
Dragons - for children aged 6-10 years.
Teens/Youths - for children aged 11-15 years.
Our classes are attended by a mixture of boys and girls and are a great way for children getting exercise and keeping fit in a fun, safe environment.
Our classes also teach self discipline, self defence and can be a confidence builder and improve social skills for children.
Our popular coaching is carried out in a friendly way with children encouraged to achieve gradings (showing progression) whilst also having the option to compete in various competitions both locally and nationally.
